The Avis offices at International Airport Terminals 1, 2, and 3 in Manila were unattended. We were advised by other car rental providers that the Avis Offices have been closed since the pandemic. Not only did we lose time and incur extra costs travelling between the 3 terminals, we were very distressed that there was NO AVIS CAR that FULLY PAID for to be picked up. It was 9:30pm!!!
I did not find the car I reserve, and can’t get any other one because they sold out and according to AVIS office representative said whatever available online on there website not necessarily available at the location. Very disappointed and never use AVIS again
The day before i pick up my car reservation. There’s three employees from Avis located in NAIA Terminal 3, that sent me an email that the car that was reserved for me was not available. The email is from one employee and CC to another two employees. They told me via email that there’s another car for me that is available but i have to pick it up in Alabang. I live in Pasay, why did they want me to pick it up in Alabang? The price for that car they offered me doubled from the original car that i reserved online through Avis website.
Beware! They don't have a representative inside the Ninoy Aquino International airport. Then I tried calling from their main office. The Avis rep/agent that I was talking to over the phone kept telling me to wait for someone to pick us up. We waited for about 2 hours, and he never arrived. We ended up looking for alternatives within the airport.
Not good, i booked online for hazzle free transaction when i arrived in the airport to collect the car no car available and if i want to continue i had to wait 2 hours😡
