Our contact person was extremely accommodating and helpful!
The insurance details were not well provided upon booking and I had to pay more on site to get better coverage - total price was then much higher than expected
They slapped on a massive charge for damage, totally out of proportion. They did not email me any report or justification either. Lousy customer service, when I tried to extend a 2 week rental by another week they quoted me a hideously expensive extension, when their own website showed prices 3 * cheaper.
We had to wait for over an hour in a queue of 20 people to collect the car at Montpellier airport. There was only one person on the checkout and hey were not prepared for the number of passengers. We have used Avis before and were very disappointed by the service and are unlikely to use them again.
