Picking up and dropping off was incredibly easy. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and professional as well. The only issue we ran into was the Carplay in our car kept going in and out all week while we had our rental, which was pretty frustrating.

Good: When our flight time was moved up unexpectedly, National was flexible in allowing us to return the car at another location. We appreciated this so much! Bad: Pick up was tedious as the location we originally rented from was small and seemingly understaffed. One guy had to take care of everyone in line - it took well over an hour.

I've got the car from Rentalcars.com who is the agent booked the car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I was paying for a luxury BMW X5 or similiar and didn't get it. Instead, it was a value-oriented SUV. I feel cheated and am very disappointed at the arrangement from Rentalcars.com . They seems to be Indian run company based in UK.

No washer fluid in car after significant snow fall. Could not wash road salt spray off windshield while driving, created very dangerous situations multiple times. Could not add fluid myself because sold out at gas stations. Enterprise should not have rented me this car in this condition

They didn’t have the car I reserved, which was a disappointment. They gave me a choice between a Lincoln Navigator (aka the largest car ever) or a car so tiny it wouldn’t fit our luggage. At first I picked the Navigator, but it freaked me out to drive and I knew the gas money to drive it would be insane so the next morning I took it back and they let me exchange it. I ended up getting a BMW 330I which was not actually very comfortable but it was definitely a better option than the previous two options they gave me. We spent 10 days driving the car from Seattle to San Diego and it’s not the best car for a road trip as it’s not very roomy up front and there’s no place to set food and stuff, but the gas mileage was great and it’s a dream to drive/handle

Did not have the model that I reserved. Had no similar or better. Would not change pick-up to earlier time. Provided sub compact for short term (1 day of original 8 day) so we could get to our destination and "swap out" for our original model. Unable to find "reserved" size vehicle at final destination for original cost. Alamo "800" staff could not help. Not the start to our trip that we expected.

Nissan Versa was not a great car. Idled poorly and wiper blades were worn out. Pickup and drop off were quick and easy!

Rental location in Seattle was confusing to get to. Once we figure out where to go they almost gave us a car with expired tags. Check in process was very long. Second car they gave us was never inspected or walked through with us. The car play function with is what we needed would constantly go off and on (tried multiple phone cables, phone projection/Bluetooth separately with no success) which made it extremely difficult to use for our West Coast drive from Seattle to San Francisco.

It seems all businesses blame mediocre service on Covid when in reality they have grossly cut down on employees and its services. Ads generally offer more than they can deliver, especially when it comes to really clean from last customer to the next. This was true for our vacation experience with almost all hotels and car rentals. We rented in from Avis in downtown Seattle and wanted to return at the airport. This was impossible on-line without doubling the rental fee. However, Avis in Seattle was able to do it for an additional fee of about $200 plus $75.00 fee for the agency to return it to Seattle (about 25 minute run). Considering our time restraint and the cost of an uber it was a "deal". We had to wait almost an hour at time of rental. The car was quickly washed but I doubt any cleaning (except possibly vacuuming) was done, so bring lots of wipes. The Avis agent was very nice and did her best with so many customers in line. Upon return at airport, Avis garage agent would not give us a receipt and when I inquired about the total cost it was $400 higher than our rental contract! Had to go to Avis airport rental office stand in line and then haggle with agent who finally agreed to honor the original contract and I got a receipt. Luckily we were not in a hurry to catch a plane.

Pick-up time for our car was 4:00 pm in downtown Seattle. We arrived at 4:40 pm. The place was deserted. The big Avis sign was off. There was a little sign still up on the sign. We were left wondering if the place was closed down for good (many car rental offices in downtown Seattle are closed down for good). No one was in the vicinity with no information about after-hours pick-up and no number to call for help. We were left stranded in downtown Seattle without a car or anyway to get one. Everyone else had no cars available. I contacted the Priceline number but was put on hold for a very long time “because of high volume,” and eventually gave up with both their online chat and phone options. It was stressful. Then we were charged a $50 non-pick-up fee by Avis for the horrible experience.

I was pleased with everything except that they marked off the on me the same minute windshield ding that was noted in the previous damages list when I picked up the car, presumably because I had added insurance, so they can file another claim. Possibly just an error, but judging from the previous reviews it seems suspicious.

They gave me a rear-wheel drive vehicle instead of the AWD vehicle I had specified. I needed to buy $150 of chains to get over a mountain pass and the entire trip was stressful and dangerous.

The lady that helped me was extremely nice from picking up the car and even dropping off (we ran into her in the streets). She was super accommodating even though the car I selected was not in the lot. She assured me that it was going to be a similar car and I was able to choose from a couple. We bonded super well and I loved my experience because of the customer service I had received from her.
