Car was VERY dirty, like no one had taken a cloth to any surface in 10+ months. Think they are only cleaning using an electrostatic cleaning solution for disinfecting. Took far to long to get the vehicle, only one rep to handle 10 people in the line when I arrived; no self-help kiosks were available. Hate the blatant lying on the cost of rental cars too. When you book a rental car to the time you actually get the rental car some $200 in fees/taxes come up. I know you disclose that taxes/fees are not all included in the booking- but WHY? Be transparent. This was far from renting a car on a budget.
The person at the front desk was so nice you should make him as a manager
I was not ever informed that you could only use a credit care at this rental place. Ive rented several vehicles from other places and never had a problem.
Picking up was easy, but the drop off wasn’t clearly marked and the person who was at the receiving part seemed frustrated and my take on it was she was scolding me for not knowing what to do, and even then wasn’t really clear with her directions.
Archaic car rental companies still need a credit card, not debit, to secure it. So dumb. Use Turo - it’s 100x better.
