We travel to Europe frequently and we probably won't rent from Sixt any more. The story is we rented a car in Amsterdam to travel to Duesseldorf. First of all the car that was supposed to be an Audi SUV, ended up to be a Renault. By the way when I got my contract in my email after we picked up the car said it was a Mercedes benz. Anyway after all this confusions Sixt charged us an extra day which later was taken off. Unfortunately when we picked up the car, the Sixt agent didn't walk us to the car to check for any previous damages and as a customer we trust the agent. She handed us the key in the office and said we are all set. Also when we returned the car to the Sixt facility at the airport, i asked from the Sixt agent to check us out and the answer was you are all set. Once our trip was done and we come back to US I get an email that there was damages to the car. I hope there is not a scam going on here and we are being scammed. In US when we give our credit card to a service company, they should protect the customer to the best of their ability and not just say we will charge your account because of a made up damages. We had no idea about this damage and for all we know it could be done before our rental or after by the agent. This is very frustrating and the very reason I mentioned earlier that we won't be renting from Sixt again. M. Pourjavad 2144035045
