Drop off was a breeze. Location and shuttle was great too. It would be so helpful if the company would just inform people of the extra charges ahead of time so they don’t have so many angry people at pick up feeing like they are getting lied to. There’s mandatory collision and liability insurance that are additional daily fees and you can only get them through their company. There’s daily extra driver fees, roadside, and they didn’t even give us a car that was comparable to the one we thought we were getting. Explaining all this ahead of time so there aren’t any surprises upon arrival would be so much better for customers. The “total” upon reserving online is never the case. It’s really another $500 on top of that. Just say so instead having hidden fees.

Grossly overpriced, Using Uber 2-3 times/day would have been much less expensive, and much more convenient. In addition, Budget substantial "daily" insurance fee, which was not disclosed at the time I made the booking. This part is completely unacceptable.

There was nothing to like about this experience other than the friendliness of the shuttle driver and desk associate.

The car we received was old and dirty. The steering wheel was peeling and the one headlight wasn’t working. Also, the rear hatch would shake and make noise uncontrollably when driving on the highway. Terrible reventar experience.

Pickup took a long time. Rental agency charged me $160 for the most basic insurance and said it was mandatory. I paid $23 through Kayak.

The cost of the rental was reasonable. I had also paid $165 for third party vehicle insurance. But once I showed up to pick up the vehicle, the mandatory liability insurance was over twice the cost of the vehicle rental cost. Plus, if you don't take their collision insurance, they require a hold on your credit card for thousands of dollars. Will never rent from them again.

Picking up the car was a very long process. Has to endure the sales of signing up for presentation to reduce the price of the local insurance .... $425/week for a minimum coverage!!! .... although it seemed to be negotiable. Apparently you reserve the car at a low rate and pay a high local insurance at check out!!

The pick-up experience was particularly terrible. The attendant working tried to sell me insurance that was more than 10x the cost of the rental itself. I attempted to deny coverage and have a hold placed on my AMEX Platinum card which did not go through for some reason. I am convinced that was done on purpose. I was clearly agitated and someone else there said the insurance would be $200 if my wife and I sat through a timeshare present compared to $550 if we did not. So a 2.5 hour timeshare later and still no credit for the insurance like was described. I'll never use this company again.

Was very disappointed in the car. It was a high mileage beater more appropriate to rent-a-wreck. The only reason that I didn't give a single star was that our airplane was delayed and the owner stayed beyond closing to accomodate us. Five Stars for Service, Zero stars for the product.

Do NOT use economy rental car in cabo. Even with “full insurance” they will still charge you for any damage to the car. The cost of the car per day is at least $100, regardless of what you pay through Kayak.

They are Scammers! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! First when we arrived Carlos the manager offer us 3 different kinds of insurance. Of course we got the most affordable one basic liability required by law. I was talking to him in Spanish the whole time ( it was not the communication) I speak fluent Spanish, He printed out the quote and had my husband initial it, when I looked at it instead of charging us $30 a day it was more than $50 a day with taxes on top of it. I told him that it was incorrect to please fix it for what we requested. He refused to do that because he said it was already printed, and that the rate was locked!! This doesn’t even make sense, totally unacceptable. He stole more than $200 from us. I will try to contact Kayak/Priceline to file a formal complaint and get my money back! They are stealing from the tourist.

Poor quality all around. Offer a low price just to hit you with an insurance requirement that costs almost as much as the car itself. Talking about the car, it was a piece of junk, borderline dangerous to drive. Don't rent from these people, pay a little more for a more reputable operation. AVOID AT ALL COST

All was great, but car died an hour after the pickup. On the other hand they handled it really well. They got to the restaurant we were in about 30min. Drove us to our hotel, and brought the replacement in about 80 min. So not too bad…. We did loose a few hour on the beach on day one though.

Be warned about their insurance policy! I had to pay quite a lot, additionally, for full coverage that was unexpected. If you book through kayak, make sure you understand their policies before you arrive.

Pickup from the airport was easy. We waited about 5 minutes to the shuttle to take us to the rental office that's outside of the airport. Once at the office, everything went smooth but was a little slow. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a problem. If there was urgency we would have been under stress. The vehicle was great and clean. Everyone went smoothly upon return.
