Really rude staff we ended up canceling the booking. They were being rude to another family as well and not doing anything to help them out.
The people were very nice. The car was clean and ran fine during our stay. The agents went over details of the billing and car condition very thoroughly. They spoke both English and Spanish. There were only 2 downsides: (1) The Kayak ad said the pickup would be at the Cancun airport but it wasn't. There was no Sixt booth at the airport either. We managed to find Sixt by asking other companies where to go...and everyone we asked kept trying to sell us their cars instead. It was quite confusing to know where the shuttle would be and to make sure it came for us. (2) The Kayak booking took me through Hotwire and it told me that I was booking a full-size sedan because that is what I filtered my search to. However, when I clicked on confirmation to secure the reservation, Hotwire changed the car to a mid-size vehicle. I did not realize I was getting a smaller vehicle until I got to the Sixt office and they had no full size vehicles for the same price. I blame Hotwire and Kayak for that issue, not Sixt.
Location was not possible to find! Had no information on booking confirmation email! Was charged for a car I did not pick up because I could not find the location of the facility! Must not be located within the airport
The real price was 3 times more expensive than the price advertised by kayak. Shame on you kayak.
Nothing they cancelled my reservation for no reason and no notice. Had to go to a different company.
