Car was fine. Attendant told me he didn't have car full-size that I reserved and said he would upgrade me complimentary. Well when we went to car it was an older model compact suv. Obviously not an upgrade and wasn't gonna work for my family with all bags. I went back to attendant and he made a big stink. Saying I didn't like his complimentary upgrade and made a display to the other staff and drop off crew yelling loudly this. He then said he had missed tbat he did have a full-size Camry and must have just missed it. Oh silly me he said. 😑. Harassment and mistreated by this staff person. The car once we got it. Although wasn't overly clean was fine and suitable for what we needed.

Booked a compact SUV and was told at the counter that it was just a compact which didn't by for skiis. I was forced to upgrade to the next car that might fit skiis and it cost over 50% more of the original booking! Very disappointed here.

Then car was fine. The pickup experience was a disaster! We got to the counter about 10pm with 8 people in front of us and 3 agents working. We did not get up to an agent to help us until almost midnight. Almost 2 hour in line with only 8 people in front of us is unacceptable.

The lines at the counter was all mix up and people were passing before us even if we told the person at the counter. It took almost 2 hours before we could get our car, all the other car rental places were faster and they were as busy as avis. I will never rent a car at Avis ever again.
