Quick process, everything went fine. I do think that having people pay extra for snow tires in Alberta in the winter is kind of crazy though, it's a safety feature in an area that frequently gets bad winter weather.

Very pushy to take extras. Told me I wasn't insured if I didn't take the CDW (doubled the cost of the rental, and was not needed as I have 3rd party excess insurance) My booking was for a 'subaru impreza or similar' but I was told the car I had been assigned was not all wheel drive - dont specify a subaru or similar if that's the case.
