When renting the car we were told that if we prepaid for gas, we would not be charged if we drove less than 75 miles. Upon returning the car we were told that there was a minimum $16.99 charge for gas if we didn't have a receipt. We drove under 40 miles. They were not honest with us.
Bad experience
The car looked and smelled like it rolled off an impound lot. Reeked of cigarette and pot, with a cheap floral air freshener to try to cover it. Filthy cloth seats, loose metal in the door, screeching brakes, and the mirror in the visor fell into my lap when I pulled the visor down. And all this for the bargain price of $60 per day.
My first car smelled heavily like smoke and had low tire pressure that became a flat. I had to change the tire myself and bring it back to the airport pick up location. The second vehicle was also dirty but ran fine. Finally, I filled both vehicles with gas a block away from the drop off. I just saw my final bill and they charged me $99 saying it was not filled! They were closed or they would have heard from me already. I have rented many cars over the years and this was the worst - take pictures
I used this vehicle to move in state. The cargo space was great, but when I folded the seats down there were chips and other food bits that should have been vacuumed. Other than that, the staff were helpful, kind and efficient and the rental experience was easy and positive overall.
