Great car and great price. No problems at all
Cons:Better communication! Had no idea Avis bought Budget: - no one to call at the desk phone just rings - at the counter you find out about the change - Returning car was in unorganized - car rental company should let the customer about insurance by third parties vs their own prior to rental
I waited in line for pick up only to be told to go back to the terminal check in. At the terminal check in the guy was not clear and if I hadn’t rented a car before I would have thought I had to say yes to everything he was trying to sell. When I returned, a day early, I was told just to leave the keys in the car after standing in line again for 15 mins. I was still charged for the full time I rented even though I returned the car a day early. I reached out and still no one has contacted me. Won’t use budget again.
Signage to rental counter is lacking in airport, so going to the rapid pick up and having to go back was a pain. Longish line but the ladies at the rental counter were fantastic. Car needed a brake job and wipers, it was dangerous in the rain.
