One of the worst experiences renting a car I ever had. I was stranded in the middle of the road as the agency had closed down with no notifications or any way of letting me know. What a terrible, terribly run company

Dollar did not have a vehicle for me upon my arrival, despite having a reservation for two weeks. They also had no alternatives and no recommendations, so we were basically stranded upon arrival over 800 miles away from home. Thankfully, Enterprise was able to accommodate us.

Had to wait about an hour to get the car. When the car finally showed up, it was filthy inside. By that time I just wanted to leave, went straight to the hotel and cleaned the inside of the car myself. Stay away from dollar/Thrifty. Absolutely not worth it.

No cars available at pickup. People were waiting over two hours. Despite having a reserved car, we eventually gave up and went across the street to ENTERPRISE, which had cars available right away. Never rent from Thrifty/Dollar!
