Customer service agent at the desk was great. In creating a Kayak reservation online, I selected SEATAC but was inadvertently directed to a pick up spot in bellevue. The agent helped me quickly get a car I could afford and could not have been nicer. please thank her for me.
The only complaint was the windshield wipers. They were in very bad shape and was very difficult to see after use. Would suggest routine inspections.
Unable to communicate despite multiple outreaches. No customer service. No customer support. Tried to reach out to the local branch which pushed me to the corporate site which did not enable any meaningful communication. I’ll never use them again.
Fox did a great job with very reasonable rates for a very comfortable vehicle.
Pros:N/A. Nothing stood out as delighting me above base expectations.
Cons:I was virtually forced to pay almost twice the quoted price for insurance because the penalties for potential damages were extremely costly should any result. This was not clear when making the reservation. The car I rented had tires that were almost bald resulting in a precarious driving experience. The car also had previous damages that I otherwise might have been held responsible for if I had not payed for the insurance. To top it off, I returned the car sparkling clean with no new issues or damages and did not receive my security deposit back. Fox did not give a reason to why they have not refunded the security deposit to me. Overall, very poor customer experience.
