Employees at the Indianapolis went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met when the car I had rented was delayed. A nice upgrade was their offer along with a free half-tank of gas. After the first leg of my trip, a low tire pressure indicator light came on around 10pm, clearly too late to do anything about it. By morning when I drove to the nearest Enterprise, it was down to 15. Once again, a nice upgrade. From there on out, it was smooth sailing. Thanks, Enterprise.

Locations listed online were impossible to find, and in a few cases didn’t exist/were incorrect. Called over a half dozen times and not a single time did I get through to an actual person and not just because I didn’t hold long enough but because eventually the calls would disconnect themselves!
We arrived to pick up the car and there was one person working the counter. It took 2 1/2 hours to get to the counter. The car windows were filthy inside and out so upon arriving at where we were staying we cleaned them because they were terrible to look out of at night with oncoming traffic. We felt bad for the one guy at the counter because the line was very long, and he apologized for having to leave to go to the bathroom.

Bad service and not available care on time and take more money
Great! I always rent from Alamo but the last few times was an AWFUL customer service experience. My recent experience was expedient, fantastic customer service, and many cars to choose from. It's usually hard to choose during holiday weekends since not many cars are around in general. Thanks!!

Alamo was fine. I just didn't much care for the Audi as it is much over hyped in my opinion. 1. I mean the most prominent information in the center of the dash for the driver is the date & time?, and a picture of the car with a thermometer for the temp of the engine? REALLY?!? The speedometer is a small dial in the lower right hand corner. 2. You have to push AND HOLD the seat memory button until it reaches the correct position. 3. There is no speed limit indicator for the road you are driving on. 4. The cruise control lever is hidden below the steering wheel, out of sight, and you can't turn off that damn follow too close feature. If I don't know when to break or slow down, then I shouldn't be driving. 5. My 7 year old Genesis is a much better car.
I was charged $46.45 for a fuel. I returned car with a full tank They refused to refund the $46.45 I was told fuel was $3.44 a gallon. I was told I would pay for how many gallons needed to fill the tank. I want a refund for the $46.45.

Quick process in & out of IND. No one tried to over sell you.
worst experience for renting a car. They double charged my rental. They are blaming on Priceline for sending wrong information. Not helpful in anyway. Created a case to review the extra charges.
Less than stellar communication. It is hard to figure out exactly what you will be charged at the end.

It was not all Thrifty's fault. My Delta flight out of DSM was delayed so I missed my connection in ATL. That didnt get me into Indianapolis until 1:30 am. All car rental personnel had gone home. I immediately called Thrify and they told me I had to contact Price Line and they said they would look into refunding me. I had tried to let them know of the delay earlier in the day on their automative answering system but got no response. I walked out to the car lot and found an Avis employee that helped me out. So if you can help make sure Price Line refunds me, I will continue to use Kayak. Thank You Darrin Lynd

I made a reservation for a car through kayak back in March at this location. When I went to pick it up at my scheduled date and time, they informed me that the over $500 I had already put down was nowhere to be found and that this happens frequently with kayak (who uses CarRentals.com). They just don’t forward your money to the vendor. They made me a reservation for a car, but did not forward my money to Thrifty. Additionally, I waited in line for more than an hour to find this out with no explanation about why the waits were so long. The staff were clearly stressed and overworked and I was not the only person having issues at the counter. Another person and their family stood at the counter for no less than 45 minutes. No one got away from that counter in less than 15 minutes and nobody was telling the Gold members they could leave the line and go get a car. A Gold member stood behind me in line and was not told he had special privileges until he was nearly at the counter, which made me upset for him! The places was incredibly disorganized and the staff was under trained and stressed. They were just trying to get through people and were not kind or good at explaining anyone’s issues. I would literally never rent from this location again even if my rental had gone off without a hitch when I got to the counter. Waiting more than an hour to unsuccessfully pick up my reservation was ridiculous, and the explanation I was given at the time made 0 sense and I had to piece it together with a friend after I was told to get OUT OF THE LINE and figure out my issue on my own. Just absolutely horrible. I might change or update this review if I ever get a refund of the money I paid in March for a car I was unable to pickup from this disorganized, overbooked location.

Horrible. Horrible. Reserved car for pick up at 6:00 pm. Flight was a little late and when we arrived at the counter a little before 7, it was closed. They had closed at 6 even though we were able to book a pickup at that time. Other rental car company employees said it is a common problem with Sixt. There was no message sent to us, no way to contact them by phone. Tried everything we could think of for an hour and finally had to rent a car from another company. Horrible.

Without warning or any communication my card was charged almost $300 after drop off, and I know the car was in perfect condition. Currently disputing this charge and it’s a nightmare. Horrible and will never rent a car from SIXT again

HORRIBLE!! Don't use Sixt. Worst car rental experience I've had to date. My daughter and I arrived at the rental pick-up late at night and the rental desk was completely empty. We walked to another kiosk and the person there expressed that Sixt was always bailing on their customers and that they were often hearing people complain. We walked out to the garage, no rep there either. I called customer service; first time I was hung up on, the other 5 times I called, no one answered. I ended up having to pay $600 to rent a pickup truck with Alamo rentals.

Your customer service team is excellent: Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They made up for the fact that the car wasn't clean on the inside. Ashes were on the dashboard, pieces of candy, a plastic fork, and an unused tea bag were all present telling me that the cleaning job was rushed and not done well.
