Extremely hard and almost impossible to get a rental without a reservation. Outrageous prices! If I wasn’t desperate to get home I would never have used there service. I can say the women who helped me did was she could and went above and beyond, or at least made me feel that way. It’s hertz corporate that’s the problem. Criminal how they operate.

We arrived at exactly the drop-off time (10pm) and the location staff was already leaving so we were told we had to pay for overnight parking at the structure it's located in. I had to threaten to call Hertz central before the manager accepted my drop off. It was clear this was done on purpose to create a situation in which drivers are forced to pay for parking if arriving a second past the reservation time. Unacceptable business practice.

Wouldn’t recommend Hertz. Pick up experience wasn’t good at all, car I asked for was not ready, despite my late arrival- clerks told me it was my fault as I hadn’t arrived at 9 am (time when I requested my vehicle. Still it took then around 1 hr and a half to bring my car. That’s not the expected service when you book ahead of time and specially since there’s a sign outside office which states reservations are honored starting 30 min before your arrival. The same happened to another family who arrived before us. I was provided a 25 usd costumer satisfaction receipt, which definitely doesn’t make up for the hour and a half spent waiting.

While pick up the car, they don’t have the car which I reserved, and lend me a different car. The car the has an issue with CarPlay and can not work the out with functional gps. I request to swap to another car for functional CarPlay system, the lady was on phone for 10mins and then need me to pay additional $50. The substitute car has hair left on the seat.

i had specifically asked about switching out credit/debit card at drop off. at pick up they confirmed it as i specifially asked about it, but at drop off they said it wasn't possible. it felt they were just shoving me off.

HYA Airport needs to make it clearer to customers that the building CLOSES as of 8PM, making it impossible to return a car after that timeframe. It's incredibly inconvenient and hours need to be clearly stated when making a rental reservation. This is not the first I've experience this when renting a car.

We got a KIA SUV that had over 58k miles on it. When I checked out, the car was muddy (not washed), the floor mats were not cleaned and vacuumed, and the tires were low. I tried to see if the garage attendant could fill up the tires but he said he couldn't and that the tires were okay and that it was fine to drive the car. While driving the car, I found a gas station to pay to use their air pump to fill the tires to their recommended air pressure.
