The Thrifty desk had about a 45 minute line before speaking to the representative at the rental desk. When I did finally reach the rental desk, I was told they did not have my reservation on file, and so did not honor the reservation. Even after I spoke with Priceline and they confirmed the reservation number, the Thrifty desk representative did not recognize an open reservation. Even if they had, they said they were unable to fill the reservation for approximate 1-2 hours because they did not have cars available at that time. I was left without an alternative, had to order a Lyft ride and rent at an off-site location under a different provider. I am waiting for confirmation of refund for the original reservation. Bad experience on many levels.
Pick up and drop off was easy and quick. Car was nice to drive.
Was given options to pick a vehicle but wasn’t the one advertised. Also the vehicle we picked had a few ants inside probably from previous rental. Overall it was okay, the rental did what a rental does, get you around.
Cons:The rudest and least sincere service ive ever received. I’ll not be using this service again and I will share my experience over social media.
Upon arrival, Thrifty Car Rental did not have a car available! We were left without any choice but to rent a vehicle from Budget Car Rental at 3x the price. Will never use Thrifty or Kayak again!!
