I was given my first rental car and it had horrible stains all over the vehicle, the windshield was cracked, and the tire pressure right was on so I asked them if I could return it. The second car they gave me in exchange was still not very clean, but not as horrible as the other one (I took photos of both cars), Everything seemed okay until I tried to start the car the next day and the engine was stalling (it took me about 3 minutes to get the car started) and then 10 minutes into driving it I got a notice that it needed an oil change immediately. I get very unsafe driving this car because we had intended to drive from Orlando to Miami, and I couldn’t trust it to operate. I called Easirent customer service to issue a refund, and they told me they couldn’t help me and I had to go speak to the branch manager at the location. The manager at the location gave me the direct opposite information and said that customer service was in charge of issuing refunds. After about 20 minutes of back and forth and showing all the photos of the cars and issues, the branch manager agreed to put in a request for a refund and told me to follow up with easirent customer service in a few days. The customer service agent that I called and followed up with had no idea what was happening and my refund has still not been issued and it’s been over a week since i’ve returned the vehicle.
