It was a scam!
Firefly didn't have the minivan we'd booked for our trip! Neither did they have the 2nd minivan my brother had booked. We ended up squeezed into cars instead. Also they charge you insurance at the desk which makes the total price the same as more reputable hire companies. I will avoid in future.
A cost of $350 turned in to over $1000 with all the fees and insurance added. The cost on Kayak is not representative at all of what you will pay. And all these charges hit you when you go to get your car, so you have no option but to pay the fees if you need a car
The address then give you to pick up the car doesn’t exist. Google maps shows you the agency but there is nothing there. It takes forever to get ahold of customer service and they just tell you to go to another company. Will never use again after wasting more than an hour driving in circles delaying my trip.
The type of car I requested wasn't available, felt like I was being ripped off. I was in a foreign country and needed a car for what I'm doing and I had already been shuttled to the hertz rental place so I felt like I had no choice but to get the bigger more expensive car, triple was I thought I would pay.
