Absolutely awful. Reservation wasn't able to be moved from downtown Philadelphia to the airport location. The downtown location closed at 4 but our flight was delayed so we were unable to get there on time. Guy at the desk at the airport hertz straight up told us he can't help us. Didn't attempt anything. Ended up paying TWENTY NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a reservation I made that was supposed to be $900. Dumpster fire of a situation and won't be using kayak for this ever again. Nor Hertz for that matter. Get bent.

I made a reservation at least 2 weeks in advance. I showed up to the location and was told 1) that location doesn’t have any cars and 2) that no Hertz location in Philadelphia had a rental car for me (including the airport, Thrifty and Dollar rentals)… the arrangements we were able to make in the end, and the cost of moving around during a downpour thunderstorm, was over 4 times the cost of the rental we were able to procure. This is not the first time Hertz hasn’t had a car available when I’ve showed up for a reservation. It will certainly be the last time I book them.

We arrived at the Wood St location and they told us they didn't have any vehicles. We then had to call Hertz and complain and find another location to get a car. They sent us to Amtrack location and got us in a dirty minivan after waiting 2.5hrs.

I reserved a car online and received a confirmation number. On arrival at the location I was told no cars were available and to the call the main reservation number. There I was told an another close location had a car and I reserved it and received a confirmation number. Again when I arrived, no cars were available. This is truly unacceptable.

While I didn’t actually rent a car through Enterprise, they were kind enough to give me a call on Thursday (before my Saturday reservation) to verify pick and to remind me they closed at 1 pm. That was a little confusing as my plane did not arrive until 12:50 and if it was delayed at all they would be closed before I got there. Even though I requested a car for the airport my reservation was changed to a downtown location. That would not work out at all. Had to reserve another car with a different company. Thank goodness I did not pay in advance.
