It was not clear instructions about the insurance policy and I havve to buy the insurance at the counter and when you compare with the benefits and value it was expensive hence basic coverage…also I still didn’t get the refund yet. Even I sit didn’t get drop off confirmations email however they said you will get email notification about the drop off in the next 5-10 minibus still didn’t get yet!!! I dropped off the rental car 9/9/2023 around 8:40pm (before the drop off time)x

They tried to add some extra fees because I was planning to take a ferry to an island so I ended up leaving a car parked before the ferry crossing (which actually worked fine for me)

Great! No Issues with rental process and the company. But the brand new Renault rental car started to show low tire pressure suddenly while driving on second day despite no change in tire pressure, had to stop and check multiple times. Sixt was great!
We loved our car and the service at the rental agency was fantastic. Our only challenge is that we did not have a way to call the agency for our initial pick up because we are international travelers.

Worst rental company I used in 35 years of travelling. They will charge you up front $1,000+ deposit and refuse to release it. There are so many descent rental companies, do not use that company.

When calling the Green Motion to get a ride from the airport nobody was picking up the phone so I called Athens downtown office which called them. There is a mislead they said wait for a driver in a green shirt to come in to the airport and he never did. Instead it was the car rent rep by the location specified with a green scarf. To get to the car rent this and that overall took 2hrs. When returning the car I mentioned my GPS didn't take me to the correct address so I spent 1hr to get to the Green Motion thus my flight was slightly over an hour and I asked 3 times to take me to the airport. The response was each time to wait 3-5 mins for the van resulted the van arrived in 15min + 5 mins load + 10 mins ride so I got to the airport when the check-in to my flight closed 15 mins ago I was lucky they checked my luggage at the boarding. With this experience I am very unhappy with the service.

Pickup at airport took forever. When we dropped car off it was chaotic at the counter. The car was almost empty when we got it. It had issues when we started it. Weird noises. Not a great experience.

1. I met the agent at the scheduled time of my arrival at the airport and waited for a whole hour until their van was full of customers, in order to take us to the location to pick up our car. 2. Their office does not work 24 hours. I had to return the car 3 hours earlier, due to my flight, and the company charged me, an extra 40 euro in order for me to leave it at the airport. P.S. I was never informed about all of the above before hand in order for me to make a more rational decision (office hours, extra charges etc).

I booked a Renault Kangoo minivan for 4 passengers and 4 suitcases via Kayak. When i called them, Thrifty told me that they have received in their instruction a “small automatic car”. I cannot figure out if Kayak messed up or Thrifty. But i ultimately had to pay up 30% more for a small minivan (Opel Zafira) from Thrifty with 130k miles and underpowered. I am NEvER going to rent cars thru’ Kayak again. They also told me that they do NOT even rent out Renault Kangoo, so they have no idea why Kayak will show that car to me online available to book. Either somebody is lying or something is seriously wrong in the tech interface between Kayak and Thrifty

No drop off instructions so was confusing. For early drop off no staff. But was in general an excellent service. Recommended.
Always a rip off, I forget every few years then do it again and get fleeced. Why can’t the cost I pay for car hire be the final cost ever? €10 cleaning fee on drop off? Really? Surely that’s part of the service… it’s like renting a hotel room then having to pay the cleaners after… stupid! You’ve definitely factored in cleaning to your price already but then sting customers for it again. Excess of over £800… ridiculous. Forces customers to buy insurance, and boom another £50 gone. no information given about pick up of car at airport, no signs no nothing, just a van outside with a small Europcar label on it, rubbish! All on all it would probably work out cheaper for me to get a private driver to take me around for my entire trip than do this again, shameful and nothing ever changes!

It would be helpful if it was more clear on the website that the person in whose name the reservation is made will automatically be assigned as the primary driver for the vehicle and this information could not be changed at the time of pick up for the vehicle. We ended up having to cancel and rebook our reservation at the time of car pick up in order to have my partner as the driver.

The europcar office in Sarajevo are crocks. I rented an 8 seater car. While driving on the highway some thing on the road hit the car and broke a hose or something, that cause the engine to overheat. The Europecar staff in Sarajevo airport ended up charging me almost 800 euros even though I had medium insurance protection. As they claim the my coverage does not cover damages underneath the care. In any case, I regret renting from Europcar.
I didn't get the car I booked, because THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. no alerts, emails, or calls about them missing it, so I was left on the street with my luggage in the middle of the night with an Airbnb booked in another city. next time maybe count your cars before letting people book non-existing ones.

Hello I made reservation through "priceline" But unfortunately when I arrived to Hertz rental car office in TIRANA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. They said we don't have car.and they trying to find excuses and lies. The next day I went to the airport and I rent a car from different company for the amount 750 € I regret this type of business with "Hertz" and I need consideration for this MATTER from YOU.
