We have trouble with our reservation in another company but thanks to alamo we was avaible to resolve it in a really good time and very good price

SFO Tram takes a few minutes, planning for extra time when dropping off helped.

Easy pickup and drop off. No complaints, reasonable price.

Rep was professional service was quick

Budget was the only company with line at SFO pick-up, waited one hour. Got charged for fuel despite bringing back full tank.

I should get a regular SUV and drive from SFO to PHX, but they said that I've booked an electric SUV, I said it is not possible. I'm sure they lied to me because they didn't have a regular SUV. Therefore I rented an SUV in Alamo but paid in 2 times higher.

The 2.5 hour wait to obtain the car, plus the dollar "system" being incorrect and resulting in the wrong size, is inexcusable!! Another significant delay/wait upon returning the car will absolutely convince me to never rent from Dollar again.

There was no cars availables. This company is a swindler. Never again.

Not at the airport as mentioned also was closed after waiting 2 hours for a shuttle pick up. We were stranded in the middle of no where. Will never use kayak priceline to book. I should have been informed, no help was provided

We notified them as soon as we knew our flight from Japan was delayed to arrive SFO by more than 6 hours. We did not receive a call back...When we arrived and used the courtesy phone that is supposed to be a direct line to the rental company it was "No longer in service". We had to rent a vehicle from another vendor. They never called us. And we contest the advance payment we made for nothing.

Their phone number didn't work and I never used them. I am so glad that I booked a back up car rental service.

The line to pickup was very long, but I signed up for Avis preferred (a free signup) while in line and I got much faster service. The car was very nice and drop off was great.

I wanted to provide some feedback to Kayak because there may have been a misleading claim made on my rental. When I went online to do my booking originally, it very clearly stated on the KAYAK website that I would receive a "Mystery Car" at Avis but spelled out that it would be a "sedan that seats 4 people". When I got to the AVIS counter in SFO, they said that it was a mystery car so it was up to them to issue any four door car, so they gave me a pickup truck which was not very satisfactory. First of all, it was not a sedan and second, the trunk at the back was an open bed which made it awkward to travel with exposed luggage. I pleaded with the counter agent that the website specified a sedan with four doors and they asked for my reservation and apparently it just showed a 4 door vehicle and did not specify a sedan, like the KAYAK website did originally when I hit the confirm button on the reservation. I would like to know how this happened because the only reason I proceeded to make the reservation is because the website specified a "sedan with 4 doors" but when the booking partner who provided the deal sent me the confirmation, sedan did not appear to be listed. I really don't appreciate this as to me, it is false advertisement and misleading sales tactics. I could care less what sedan they gave me as long as it was a sedan. But they insisted, all they had was the pickup truck which did not make my vacation enjoyable at all. I reached out to the partner that made the booking with AVIS and they suggested it is likely KAYAK's issue in what they may have printed in the ad. Regardless, I was the one who was out in the end, as I had an uncomfortable ride and ended up paying at least the amount of gas.

Horrible experience, never been so rudely treated and lied to in all my years as a business traveler. Trying to force you to buy extra insurance under the premise that the car has NO insurance at all and they can not rent out a car w/o insurance. When I explained that according to the law, all rental car has basic insurance and that my Amex card will cover the CDW he became very rude and did everything he could to prevent us from renting the car. Asking for our passports, never under my 20+ years renting cars in the USA have we even been asked to show passports and then he demanded that we show him our international driver's licenses. Did not know that such a thing even existed anymore, it's just a translation. So we had to cancel the whole thing and take the long trip back to SFO airport Worst ever

Europcar is not in the terminal. They did not have my reservation. I had to rent from another company. They are not refunding my rental fee.

During reservation, we had selected option for the car rental at the airport terminal and not offsite. After reaching to the airport we realized that the car rental was offsite. Moreover, we were not informed anywhere during reservation that they close at 12:30 am. We reached there at midnight and they were closed. We booked the car but we lost the money and had to book another from the airport from what was available from a different car company,
