Sixt charged me for 2 days that I did not rent the car. Also, the car I was charged for was not the car that I drove.

I was not informed through the app when I made the reservation there an Austrian international driving permit was required so we were left without a car. I would say this is very important information that should be made well-known!

The windscreen wipers were a disaster, poor maintenance
The representative (Masoud) was so professional, helpful, friendly, and kind. The process was quick. The car was excellent. We got a free upgrade from economy to a small SUV. Highly recommend it.

Insurance was included at booking time but Hert did not accept it and we need to make a new one. This was 50% of car price!!
It was a horrible experience. Terrible customer service and then fraudulently charged me for damages despite having comprehensive insurance. When I called Hertz they provided no details nor had they sent any documentation. I will never use Hertz or Kayak again for a car rental.

They promised they will wait for me but they didn't. And then I had to take a different car from a different company for much more money and less space. Shame on hertz cannot trust them at all
The staff was very helpful. I don't understand why they charge such a large ammount of money as a guarantee (2000€), only for one day rental. That's a first! A minus was the difficulty finding the entrance to the car parking when returning the car... especially when in a hurry.

I booked a car and went all the way to thrift rental at Wien train station to be told that I could not proceed to the car rental because I did not had a credit card and a debit card could not been accepted. I am very disappointed from your service because I was expecting to rent a car for the day. I had plans for the day and unfortunately I had to cancel everything because I didn’t had a car. Although I asked to give a deposit from my debit card.I don’t have and I don’t use credit card I can’t understand why you didn’t accept my debit card.

The price I was quoted did not have basic insurance package, the clerk saw that it was automatically added and I had to pay 50% more than the initial price. NOT Happy at all. I went to refill the gas and the gas door would not open! I had to return the car almost empty and I'm sure I'll be charged extra for it...
The agent was excellent. The only negative is that the rental car agency location is closed on weekends which is very annoying because I had to pick up the car on a Friday and therefore rent the car for an extra day. This is just part of European culture where stores are constantly closed, leaving consumers without the options that they want.

I don't understand 2 things: 1. Why don't they write somewhere in confirmation, that they accept only credit card (no debit). Yes, you can find it on page 8/12 with font size 8 in general terms... And oh, they would accept debit if you pay double the price for insurance. Very disappointing. 2. You need to sing, that car has no damage and only then pick-up a car. Then you need to find a guy in garage to write down the damage, which was our case... very disappointing. Other than that, staff was nice and was trying to help.

We were charged an extra 13Eu, per day, because we intended to use the car outside of Austria. We weren't made aware of this prior to the rental. This made the cost significantly higher than other rentals. I am very disappointed. This is deceptive! I will not use this service any more!
The price that appears on momondo is strongly irrelevant to what i paid. The company seems to not respect momondo. Seems to be almost a scam.
