Nice experience, but the price list is not understandable. We ordered mini package car, but instead were forced to take a more expensive one. Also the price for the flat tire - 400Euros is non logical, in any sense.

We were to pick up our rental car on a Thursday night. Our flight was delayed and we got in after 11pm - Alamo was closed. They had our original flight info, I wrote from the plane as we were told there was a delay. They said they could leave a key in a box for 50euros. I have not experienced a rental car company closing, knowing your flight info, I said I guess we have to pay the 50 euros, we were definitely not arriving before 11pm. They then asked for a great deal of information, wanted to email us a new contract to be signed and returned. Again, we were sitting on the airplane. There was nothing we could do. We arrived in Copenhagen, waited in a 30 minute line for a taxi that costs $62.00 to drive us to our hotel. And another $62.00 to get us back to the rental company to pick up our car when they were open. We had to get a rental as we were driving to another city. When they saw our arrival time originally why not assume we'll be late and take care all matter in case they needed to leave a key? And why the 50 euro charge for a delayed flight we the customers have no control over? Is it really that much more work to leave a key? I will think twice before I use Alamo again.

Liked the staff, everyone was very nice. The problem was that I paid for a very expensive bridge toll ($65 round trip) ahead of time so I wouldn’t be stuck in the slow lines at the bridge. When I got to the bridge the prepay didn’t work. I held up traffic in an express lane for 10 minutes as things got sorted out. I didn’t even try to go through the express lanes on the way back, I just paid the toll again to avoid causing another traffic jam.
