Good: Sanford airport is so small. I walked right up to the counter for our 7pm reservation to pick up. Drop off was equally efficient. Bad: The woman who helped me to get our car rental was very pushy about add-ons. Specifically, the 11.99/day unlimited tolls. I researched ahead of time, and knew I could take a route to Disney without hitting any tolls. She pressed after I explained that, stating that it was impossible to get out of the airport without paying a toll. The way she was being so pushy, and my unfamiliarity with the area made me think twice, but in the end I declined. I paid no tolls for the duration of our trip, using my pre-planned routes.
The worker needs to be better nasty attitude she doesn't need to be working at budget telling me that I couldn't use my insurance that I had to get their insurance that something was wrong with the vehicle that my credit card was declined I gave her three different credit cards to use she said they all was declined very poor services I will not be renting from budget again very very poor services
Pros:Loved the VW Bug convertible! Quick pick up and drop off
Pros:My experience with this particular budget was not good. Nothing good to say at all.
Cons:The front desk staff when picking up the car was rude and condescending. Insisted that my husband and I wear our masks which we were fine with but did not insist that the mailman wear a mask when he came in to bring the mail. Felt discriminated against by this particular staff member. The car was dirty on the inside. Hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned at all. Definitely not sanitized per COVID-19 regulations. Just an overall bad experience for the price we paid to rent the vehicle.
Windshield fluid ran out but when I filled, it didn't work. Had trouble manually cleaning the windshield throughout the drive.
