We would never use SIXT rental agency again. They used aggressive used car sale tactics at the front desk, changing reservation pricing, making questions about toll pricing and insurance unnecessarily (and it seemed like purposefully) confusing. What appeared on the front end as seemingly fairly reasonable pricing on a luxury vehicle was not at all worth the hassle and headache of calling them on their tactics and getting them to adhere to the reserved pricing.

Pros:Staff tried to be helpful. Good price: literally half as much as Avis, which is basically a giant consumer-fraud scheme. Corolla nicer than I expected.

Cons:It shouldn't take an hour to pick up a car I've already reserved online. Understaffed: they only had one person cleaning the cars, so the car wasn't ready when I got there, and wasn't particularly clean when I got it. And stop already with the toll surcharges: I'm already paying the tolls myself and it costs them basically nothing.

They accepted my reservation and my money only to tell me they had no cars available except luxury vehicle which were 10 times the cost of my booked rental and a $2500 deposit, while also informing me they had no Intention of honoring my original booking while being rude af, knowing I had just landed in a new city with an important meeting to get to. When I asked them why they said “because it is cold out the demand is higher and we can” And it was during that cold snap this past weekend where it dropped below zero. All the while, continuing to badger me to let them have a pastry from a box i stopped to get from a special place back hone that I had carried on the plane as a gift to the people I was meeting with. I had been a subscriber of their services for 6 months earlier this year and now, they are dead to me. Dead to me. I will never ever consider using them again for how they treated a once loyal subscriber
