When I went to pick up my car, the rental agency did not have any cars, even though I had a reservation well in advance. They said possibly the next day. I then had to take a $200 taxi to my destination. Still without a car. Who do I contact for reimbursement to cover the hundreds of dollars I spent on Ubers and taxis?
I thought Thrifty did well. I paid for insurance through Kayak. Was told at the counter that the insurance provided by Kayak was only liability. Frustrated by the lack of clarity on what was provided and by whom.
No long lines.
Was just expensive. But everything else was good.
Stop. Do not fall for the “Manager’s Special” deal. They will stick you with the smallest, worst condition POS they have- all designed to force an expensive upgrade. Never again.
